Danny Witwer: No. They're much more than that. Science has stolen most of our miracles. In a way, they give us hope, hope of the existence of the divine. I find it interesting that some people have begun to deify the Precogs.
John Anderton: The Precogs are pattern-recognition filters, that's all.
Danny Witwer: Yet you call this room "the temple".
John Anderton: Just a nickname.
Fletcher: The oracle isn't where the power is, anyway. The power's always been with the priests, even if they had to invent the oracle.
John Anderton: You guys are nodding like you actually know what the hell he's talking about.

Danny Witwer: Sorry. Old habit. I spent three years at Fuller Seminary before I became a cop. My father was very proud.
John Anderton: What does he think about your chosen line of work?
Danny Witwer: I don't know. He was shot and killed when I was 15 on the steps of our church in Dublin. I know what it's like to lose someone close, John. 'Course, nothing is like the loss of a child. I don't have any children of my own, so I can only imagine what that must've been like. To lose your son - in such a public place like that. At least now you and I have the chance to make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen to anyone...
John Anderton: Why don't you cut the cute act, Danny boy, and tell me exactly what it is you're looking for?
Danny Witwer: Flaws.
John Anderton: There hasn't been a murder in 6 years. There's nothing wrong with the system, it is--
